KD, That was a very touching article to read--all this summer as you travel along the river--you can know that we are all very proud of you--Grandpa always was his grandchildren's biggest fan. - Hi Cheryl, thanks for the kind message. It was my pleasure to meet Kevin, Brian and Danielle, and learn of their life changing journey. Look up www.bemidjipioneer.com, and you will see the excellent front page story that was done on them in our Sunday's paper! I was the one who was blessed to meet them, at the land on the Mississippi River my grandparents left me and my family, to be stewards of, for generations to come. You clearly have brought up a son, that wants to make a difference in this ever changing world, and we all will be better off for his efforts.
